TiN coating on drawing dies and tools

Titanium nitride is a high hardness coating used to increase wear resistance.
The acronym C.V.D. (chemical vapour deposition) means chemical deposition by steam. TiN coating with CVD provides excellent wear resistance and adhesion to carbide.

The acronym P.V.D. (physical vapour deposition) indicates physical deposition by steam. TiN coating with PVD also provides improved wear resistance and adhesion to carbide.
