DEM acquires WWM Technology brand and its welding wire know-how

The deal strengthens DEM’s position among global leaders in welding wire technology.

DEM Group recently announced the acquisition of the WWM Technology brand and its proprietary know-how in welding wire fabrication. The strategic move marks a significant milestone in DEM's growth trajectory, positioning the company as one of the foremost players in the global welding wire technology sector.

The acquisition brings together WWM Technology's deep expertise and intellectual property in welding wire manufacturing with DEM's established capabilities in flux-cored wire (FCW) tube forming machinery. The combination creates a uniquely integrated offering that spans the full spectrum of technology — from core to solid wire.

"This acquisition represents a defining moment for DEM Group," said Stefano Zuttion, CEO of DEM. "By uniting WWM Technology's welding wire know-how with our own expertise in wire rolling, we are building a centre of excellence that will serve the customers with unmatched depth of capability and innovation."

The integration of the WWM Technology brand reinforces DEM Group's commitment to delivering best-in-class technology solutions to wire manufacturers worldwide. Customers of both DEM and WWM Technology can expect enhanced product portfolios, strengthened technical support, and expanded research and development resources.
