Condorlube DF 30 ensures stable lubrication for cold forming

Condoroil Chemical will be among the key exhibitors at wire Düsseldorf, where it will showcase its chemical solutions for metal forming and processing at stand 10/B48. Among the technologies on display, Condorlube DF 30 stands out as a polymer lubricant developed for demanding cold forming applications.

Polymeric lubrication for severe forming operations

Condorlube DF 30 is a non-reactive, water-based polymer lubricant designed for the cold forming of carbon steels, stainless steels, and non-ferrous metals. The formulation has been engineered to withstand very high reductions, ensuring a stable lubricating film even under severe process conditions.

The product can be applied to both pickled and phosphated materials, facilitating integration into existing production lines. The formation of a uniform and consistent film improves process continuity while reducing die wear and maintenance requirements—key advantages for manufacturers of fasteners and cold formed components.

From a technical standpoint, Condorlube DF 30 is a white viscous liquid that forms a dry, humidity-insensitive film with long-term stability. Compared to conventional systems based on phosphating and reactive soaps, this polymer technology simplifies the process cycle and reduces operational complexity.

Environmental performance is another relevant aspect. The formulation is free from heavy metals and phosphates, supporting compliance with increasingly stringent environmental regulations. In addition, the potential elimination of rinsing stages helps lower wastewater treatment loads and reduce sludge generation. Its self-drying capability at operating temperatures between 30 and 70 °C further contributes to process efficiency and energy savings.

In industrial applications, Condorlube DF 30 is typically used in immersion systems, both in-line and batch. Recommended operating parameters include concentrations of 20–30% in water, immersion times between 1 and 4 minutes, and coating weights of approximately 2.8–3.5 g/m², depending on deformation requirements.

Presence at wire and Tube with Condoroil Group

During wire Düsseldorf, Condoroil Chemical will focus on solutions for cold wire forming at stand 10/B48. In parallel, the group will also exhibit in the Tube section through the Condoroil Stainless division at stand 5/E04.

At this location, the company will promote technologies for electrolytic pickling of stainless steels and advanced systems for the recovery and regeneration of process baths. These solutions are designed to improve plant efficiency while reducing the environmental impact of treatment lines.

Since its foundation in 1992, Condoroil Stainless has developed technologies aimed at minimizing resource consumption in metal surface treatment. Through molecular separation processes, its systems enable the regeneration of oils, solvents, and process solutions, as well as the recovery of valuable by-products from effluents and the purification of rinse water—often achieving zero-discharge conditions.

This approach reflects the principles of green engineering and circular economy, where waste streams are transformed into secondary raw materials. The result is both environmental and economic benefits for industrial operators.

Over time, the company has expanded its portfolio with systems for regenerating degreasing solutions, acids, pickling agents, lubricants, and solvents, alongside technologies for recovering salts, metals, and oils from process effluents. In parallel, it has advanced high-productivity electrolytic pickling solutions that reduce or replace traditional acid-based processes, improving both operational conditions and environmental performance.

At this year’s Tube exhibition, visitors will also be able to explore systems through immersive 3D videos available on interactive tablets, offering a detailed and intuitive overview of the technologies.

A week of trade fairs including Paintexpo

Condoroil’s presence will extend beyond Düsseldorf. During the same week, the company will also exhibit at PaintExpo in Karlsruhe.

At this event, Condoroil Chemical will present solutions for pre-treatment processes prior to coating. The portfolio includes nanotechnology-based products, industrial paint strippers, and systems for the e-coat sector, such as cells, membranes, filters, and ultrafiltration units for electrophoretic coating processes.

With its coordinated participation in multiple international exhibitions, Condoroil reinforces its commitment to developing advanced chemical technologies for metal treatment and processing, with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and support for industrial manufacturing.
