Electro-welded meshes for reinforced soils

The reinforced soil technique is particularly suitable for the manufacturing of slopes or embankments with a front slope angle greater than the soil internal friction one.

Pittini Group offers innovative eco-friendly solutions: electro-welded meshes can indeed replace older structures used in vertical walls, in order to reduce the environmental impact.

By layering properly compacted soil - between 60cm and 70cm of thickness - these reinforcements can reach over 20 meters of height.

Pittini’s electro-welded mesh is used as a shaped metal formwork for the manufacturing of the desired profile of the slope. Metallic tie rods, anchored to the shaped panel, ensure the maintenance of the angle defined by the geotechnical project.
