Globular annealed (GKZ / +AC) bars and wires

Trafilspec-ITS offers globular annealed (GKZ / + AC) and globular (non-lamellar) spheroidal annealed steel bars and wires.

Globular annealed steel bars and coils are the results of the spheroidization of cementite that occurs during the process, which allows achieving minimum hardness values and maximum cold deformability. As a result of this treatment, the material to be processed becomes softer and more homogeneous, optimizing the following stages’ process.

Trafilspec-ITS is the very first company in Europe to use the innovative STC (Short Time Cycle) horizontal furnace for globular annealing of steel bars and wires, thanks to which excellent quality is achieved in terms of structural uniformity and absence of decarburization.
